James has over 25 years chartered accounting experience in Auckland.
His industry experience includes commercial and residential property, retail, professional services, transport, manufacturing, information technology, real estate, agriculture, and hospitality.
James has significant experience with cross border investment both by overseas and New Zealand interests. This includes local branches and subsidiaries of overseas companies, franchises, non-resident individuals, and also New Zealand entities operating in Australia.
High net worth family groups and the taxation, trust, and investment issues unique to them is a core practice area. He has also been involved with start-up businesses and enjoys the challenges and rewards of business building.
James has experience with several not for profit organisations and is currently on the committee of the Auckland Gliding Club.
Louise Amundsen CA
Director
Louise has over 20 years’ experience in accountancy services. Louise’s background is the business advisory divisions of a big 4 accounting firm and two medium sized practices.
Louise’s experience has been predominantly working with NZ entrepreneurs and privately owned businesses (both long standing and start-ups), NZ subsidiaries of overseas companies, trusts and high net-worth individuals. She is passionate about building relationships and working closely with clients to help them streamline processes and fulfill their goals whilst meeting their obligations.

Louise is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).
Giving back to the community is important to Louise. She is the Treasurer of her local scout group and in this role has replaced what was an entirely manual accounting system to a cloud-based system akin to a modern office. Louise also assists a local sports venue with funding applications for new equipment and building refurbishments.
Outside of work Louise is usually kept busy with family and children’s events and, when time permits, an occasional bit of jogging and tramping.
